Second earthquake in a week hits Afghanistan

On October 11, the second earthquake in the last few days with a magnitude of 6,3 occurred in western Afghanistan, reports RIA Novosti.

The western province of Herat was again hit by tremors. The epicenter of the earthquake was 36 km north of the city of the same name, at a depth of about 10 km. There has been no information about damage or casualties yet.

During the first earthquake on October 7, more than 2,4 thousand people died in Herat.
