Seminar on facilitation of maritime navigation held in Turkmenistan's “Avaza”

A seminar on measures to facilitate maritime navigation, organized by the International Maritime Organization and the Turkmen “Denizderyayollary” (“Sea and River Routes of Turkmenistan”) Agency, was held at the “Deniz” hotel in the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone from October 1 to 3. This was reported on the Turkmen “Denizderyayollary” website.

During the seminar, presentations were made on the implementation of measures to facilitate maritime traffic, the positive impact of these measures on the economies of states, the Convention on the Facilitation of International

Maritime Traffic and its provisions, types of “single window” systems and directions for their implementation.

During the seminar, the participants, among whom were representatives of Turkmen “Denizderyayollary”, ministries, departments and transport and logistics companies of the country, also completed practical tasks. Following the seminar, the participants were awarded certificates.
