From October 14 to 19, the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages held seminars on modern methods of teaching Chinese for teachers of Chinese in higher education institutions and comprehensive schools in the country. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The following teachers were involved as speakers at the seminars: Hou Yu Xing (Department of Romance-Germanic and Oriental Languages, Magtymguly Turkmen State University), Chen Wenying and A. Baymyradova (Department of Far Eastern Languages, Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages).
Director of the Institute of Russian Language at Beijing Foreign Studies University Dai Guijun and Associate Professor of Xibei Normal University (PRC) Ai Hongming joined the seminars via video link. They held sessions on current issues in foreign language teaching methods.
