President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent deep condolences to Iranian President Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi in connection with the terrorist attack that happened in the Shah Cheragh mausoleum in the city of Shiraz, which resulted in numerous casualties and injuries, announced the “Watan” program of the Turkmen television.
“Resolutely opposing any manifestations of terrorism and extremism, Turkmenistan fully supports the efforts of the world community in counteracting this evil and its eradication”, the message says.
On behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, the head of state conveyed words of deep compassion and support at this difficult moment to the families and friends of the victims and wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured.
Earlier, Iranian media reported that on October 26, three unidentified people opened fire on the territory of the Shah Cheragh mausoleum in the city of Shiraz. Information about 15 dead was received.
