Serdar Berdimuhamedov Invites UAE President to Visit Turkmenistan

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has invited the Head of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to visit Turkmenistan on an official visit during a meeting on Monday at the UAE Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi, the official Turkmen media reports.

The meeting was held on the margins of the two-day official visit of the Turkmen President to the UAE.

The UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan gratefully accepted the invitation of the Head of Turkmenistan. The dates of the visit will be agreed upon through diplomatic channels, according to the report.

During the one-on-one meeting, the sides discussed in detail issues related to the implementation of the bilateral agreements aimed at the optimal realization of the potential of the Turkmen-Emirati cooperation and diversification of its areas.

The sides exchanged views on a number of topical issues of regional and global agenda of mutual interest, primarily relating to universal peace, security and sustainable development.

During the visit, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister for Presidential Affairs of the UAE.
