On January 8, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held first session of the Cabinet of Ministers with participation of the heads of administrations of Ashgabat and regions in 2021, which slogan is “Turkmenistan Home of Peace and Trust”.
Priority issues of the state life as well as drafts of some documents have been brought to discussion.Outcomes of development of the branches, plans of further social and economic development of the country as well as programs of events planned to be held on occasion of the glorious 30th anniversary of the Motherland’s development and slogan of the year were in the center of attention.
First, the floor was given to the Speaker of the Mejlis G.Mammedova who has informed on the activity of the parliament for further modernization of national legislation.
Work for strengthening of legal base of the main spheres of development of the state and society is continued at present.Law in the sphere of strengthening of public order, protection of rights and freedoms of the citizens, support of entrepreneurship and activation of the partnership between the state and private sector, improvement of education, healthcare, further enhancement of social and life level of Turkmenistan citizens are under development.
The deputy corps of National Parliament pays special attention to development of normative and legal acts for election of the members of the People Council of the National Assembly of Turkmenistan.
Proposals on relative amendments and addendums of existing laws of Turkmenistan are developed in cooperation with ministries and profile departments.Preparation to the elections of the members of the People Council of the National Assembly of Turkmenistan, which are appointed on the last Sunday of March this year, has been started.
In this regard, the working plan for coordinated activity of the Central Election Commission with the regional election committees and administrations has been approved.President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has highlighted the necessity of further improvement of national legislative base taking into account modern realties of the state development.
The Mejlis has to provide legal support to improvement of social and living conditions of native people.Speaking of the importance of high-level organization of coming elections of the members of the People’s Council of National Assembly of Turkmenistan, the Head of the State has noted that the deputies have to expand propaganda and advocacy activity on sites.
The election campaign has to reflect the unity and solidarity of Turkmen society, commitment of our country to democratic way of development, the Leader of the Nation said, having focused the attention of the Head of the Mejlis and heads of regional administrations on this subject.
Further, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Foreign Minister R.Meredov has reported on the preparation to the working trip of Turkmenistan’ delegation to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
Afghanistan is one of the country, with which Turkmenistan supports good neighborliness and equal dialog.It was informed about preparation to working trip of Turkmenistan’s delegation to Kabul for discussion of further development of bilateral relations planned on January 8 9.
It is planned to hold the 6th session of Turkmen Afghan Security Working Group as well as political consultations between foreign ministries of two countries.In addition, it is planned to hold the talks with the government of Afghanistan and official representatives of relative government institutions.
Number of draft documents have been developed together with Afghan side at the request of the Head of the State for signing during the visit to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
Speaking of the planned working trip of Turkmenistan’s delegation to Afghanistan, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has noted the importance of subjects brought out for discussion by the participants of the meeting.
In this regard, having signed the Resolution on working trip of Turkmenistan’s delegation to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the Head of the State send it to the Foreign Minister by electronic document management system and addressed number of relative instructions on this account.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers M.Mammedova has reported on work for preparation of cultural events on occasion of national holidays and remarkable dates, which are going to be observed this year held under slogan “Turkmenistan Home of Peace and Trust”.
Relative ministries, profile departments, administrations of Ashgabat and regions will take part in the celebration events dedicated to the anniversary of independence of the Motherland.Summing up the report, the President of the country has highlighted historical importance of the coming remarkable date the 30th anniversary of the state independence of Turkmenistan, which has achieved big success in all life spheres for the years of sovereign development.
The Head of the State has given specific assignments for organization of all planned events on high level to the Vice-premier and heads of regional administrations.The events have to reflect original traditions and customs of Turkmen people and its creative energy.

Further, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B.Ovezov has reported on the preparation to the opening of Akina Andhoy railway, Ymamnazar Akina and Serhetabat Turgundy international system of fiber optic communication systems in Afghanistan.
According to the orders of the Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on implementation of big regional projects in transport, communication and power energy spheres, all planned works for opening of number of facilities have been accomplished on time.
We would continue providing comprehensive support to fraternal neighboring Afghanistan, the Head of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted, having addressed the Vice-premier with number of instructions for provision of high level of events on occasion of the opening of the facilities.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers M.Meredov has reported on the realization of the Program of development of oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan until 2030, situation in various sectors of fuel and energy complex and preparation to the opening of new gas compressor station with output capacity of 30 billion cubic meters of gas per year, which was built at Malay Field in Lebap Region.
In this context, Leader of the Nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has ordered the Vice-premier to provide high level of events on occasion of the opening of new gas compressor station at Malay Field.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Sh.Durdiliyev gas reported on the situation of the spheres under his supervision and fulfilment of the assignments given by the Head of the State previously.
Having listened to the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted the importance of opening of new industrial, social and cultural facilities.Having noted that all anniversary facilities are the symbols of rapid development of independent Turkmenistan, its confident movement along the way of grandiose changes of the epoch of might and happiness, the Leader of the Nation has requested relative officials and heads of administrations to enforce the control of the course and quality of construction works, having provided their completion as per set schedule.
Further, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers M.Geldiniyazov has reported on the situation in the spheres under his supervision as well as presented the Draft Resolution on approval of the Government Program in the sphere of the state youth policy of Turkmenistan in 2021 2025 to the Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for review.
