"Singers of Love" concert will take place in Ashgabat

On December 3, in honor of the 220th anniversary of the Italian composer Vincenzo Bellini and the 210th anniversary of the Hungarian composer Ferenc Liszt, a classical music concert “Singers of Love” will take place in the Great Hall of the Turkmen National Conservatory.

The concert program, organized by the Department of the Chamber Ensemble, includes instrumental and vocal performances of works by composers of late romanticism.

The concert starts at 18:00. Free admission.

During his short life (34 years), Vincenzo Salvatore Carmelo Francesco Bellini wrote 11 operas that had great success on European stages. The best of his operas: “Capulet and Montague”, “Somnambula”, “Norma”, “Puritans”.

The pianist, teacher, conductor, publicist Ferenc Liszt is a major representative of musical romanticism. He was one of the greatest pianists of the 19th century. As a composer, Liszt made a lot of discoveries in the field of harmony, melody, form and texture. He actively promoted the idea of a synthesis of arts.
