One of the most recognizable rappers in the United States, Snoop Dogg, will be one of the final torchbearers before the opening of the 2024 Olympic Games in the French capital. Snob.ru reports this with reference to Deadline.
The artist is in Paris as a sports commentator for the television program “Prime Time in Paris”.
According to local media, the musician will carry the Olympic flame in the penultimate leg of the relay. The route will pass through the northern suburbs of Paris, where important Olympic venues are located.
The flame will then be transported to its final location in the city center for the duration of the Games.
Other famous faces who will take part in the relay on the same day will include actress Laetitia Casta, film director Alice Diop, Paralympian Charles-Antoine Kouakou and rugby player Abdellatif Benazi.
