Today, with the participation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, large-scale celebrations began in honor of the opening of the first “smart” city of Arkadag in Turkmenistan.
The start of the celebrations was given by the opening of the monument “Akhan”.
The ceremony participants, including foreign guests, welcomed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov with great enthusiasm.
The monument “Akhan” captured the image of the legendary horse Akhan - a magnificent representative of the famous Ahal-Teke breed. Akhan is a world record holder listed in the Guinness Book of Records.
At that moment, when the canvas covering it fell from the “Akhan” monument, light clouds of multi-colored balloons flew up to the solemn melody, and fountains began to work at the foot.
Then President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and foreign guests went to the Main Square of the city of Arkadag.
In a solemn atmosphere, the State flag of Turkmenistan was raised to the sounds of the National Anthem of Turkmenistan.
During the celebrations, the opening ceremony of the “Arkadag” monument was also held.
