Сoncert will be held in Ashgabat on the International Jazz Day

Rovshen Nepesov and the musicians of his orchestra invite Ashgabat residents and guests of the capital to a concert dedicated to the International Jazz Day.

Soloists take part in the jazz concert: Bahram Dolyev (violin), Selim Gurbansahedov (guitar, vocals), Tirkish Rejepov (trombone), Shirhan Batyrov (saxophone) and others.

The program of the evening will feature the music of jazz masters Duke Elengton, Charlie Parker, Dave Brubeck, as well as Turkmen composers Chara Nurymov and Rejep Allayarov.

The audience is also waiting for the premiere of the musical composition "Cypress" by the honored worker of arts of Turkmenistan Rovshen Nepesov.

The concert will take place at the National Music and Drama Theatre. Magtymguly on April 27 at 19:00.

International Jazz Day is celebrated annually on April 30 under the auspices of UNESCO to celebrate "the growing awareness of the international community about jazz as a force that promotes peace, unity, dialogue and expansion of contacts between people." The holiday was proclaimed at the UNESCO General Conference in November 2012.
