Speaker of the Malaysian Parliament intends to visit Turkmenistan this year

Talks were held today between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Malaysia, Muhammetniyaz Mashalov, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Malaysian Parliament, Tan Sri Dato Johari Abdul.

According to newscentralasia.net with reference to the Turkmen embassy in Kuala Lumpur, the parties discussed ways to strengthen parliamentary cooperation.

Shri Dato' Johari Abdul expressed his interest in visiting Turkmenistan this year.

The ambassador welcomed this proposal and noted that the visit would further strengthen parliamentary relations between the two states, the source notes.
