State universities of Turkmenistan and Astrakhan signed an agreement on issuing double diplomas to graduates

The rectors of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva and the Astrakhan State University named after V.N. Tatishchev Konstantin Markelov signed an agreement in the field of education on June 9 in Moscow. The Ministry of Foreign Relations of the Astrakhan region reported about this.

The signing was held within the framework of the meeting of the Chairman of the Government of the Astrakhan region Oleg Knyazov with the Turkmen delegation headed by Ambassador Batyr Niyazliev.

Turkmen and Astrakhan universities agreed on the implementation of joint projects, academic exchanges, organization of advanced training courses, development and implementation of educational programs, including those providing for the issuance of double diplomas.

According to ASU rector Konstantin Markelov, Astrakhan universities have been successfully graduating specialists for Turkmenistan for many years.
