Stepping up Turkmen-Chinese Relations

Today, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment Protection hosted a meeting via videoconferencing with representatives of the Foreign Affairs Office of Henan Province, the People’s Republic of China to discuss prospects for establishing mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation with the Province in transport, logistics, trade, and agriculture.

Representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, Türkmenýüpek CJSC, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange, the Türkmenawtoulaglary, Türkmendemirýollary and Türkmendeňizderýaýollary Agencies also participated in the meeting.

During an exchange of views, the parties indicated the effectiveness of these meetings in outlining common approaches to working towards a roadmap for a productive partnership.Expressing their confidence that the Turkmen-Chinese relations would continue to develop and enhance, the participants placed particular emphasis on a wide range of possibilities and the countries’ shared intention to seek mutually rewarding cooperation.
