Students from Turkmenistan became leaders in the international Spelling Bee competition

Students from Turkmenistan became leaders in the final round of the Central Asian Spelling Bee Contest on the exact reproduction of English words, which was held in Tashkent.

According to today's newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan”, the first place in the competition was taken by a first-year student of the Myrat Garryev State Medical University Samir Babajanov.

The 2nd place of the competition was won by a 3rd year student in the specialty “English Language and Literature” of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University Perman Kyyasov.

Aylar Annageldyeva, a sophomore of TSU, received a special incentive certificate confirming her leadership as the most active participant.

Shemshat Annamamedova, a teacher at the Department of Phonetics and English Lexicology of Magtymguly Turkmen State University, acted as the leader of the Turkmen team.

A rich excursion program was organized for the participants of the competition - a visit to Samarkand, the source notes.
