Students from Turkmenistan helped to put in order the monuments to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War in Saratov

Saratov social activists, together with volunteers of the project "# Imenageroev: Heroes Forever", organized a socially significant event to improve the 20 graves of the Great Patriotic War veterans buried at the Rokotovsky cemetery in Saratov. This is reported by the information resource "All-Russian People's Front".

This time, the volunteers were joined by students from Turkmenistan studying on exchange at Saratov State University named after N.G. Chernyshevsky.

The project to improve the graves of war veterans in 2021 received support from the Presidential Grants Fund and became more ambitious. Since the beginning of the year, volunteers have cleaned up more than 500 graves in rural and urban cemeteries throughout the Saratov region.
