“Suliko”, “Tbilisi” and other songs of sunny Georgia will be performed by Turkmen musicians

The State Symphonic Orchestra of Turkmenistan headed by Rasul Klychev will introduce Georgian musical culture to Ashgabat residents.

The concert program, organized by the Georgian Embassy and the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, includes the compositions of various genres.

As Rasul Klychev said to Turkmenportal, the musicians will perform classic symphonic compositions as well as popular Georgian songs. Extracts from the comic opera “First Love” by Otar Taktakishvili, music by Gia Kancheli from the movie “Kin-Dza-Dza!”, melodies from popular TV series, works by Viktor Dolidze and other famous composers will be performed.

Accompanied by an orchestra, the vocalists will perform wonderful Georgian songs, including such popular ones as the lyrical “Suliko”, the pop anthem of the Georgian capital “Tbilisi” and other works beloved by listeners.

To all those who comes to this evening of friendship will have an opportunity to delve into the atmosphere of Georgia together with the musicians of the orchestra “to pass through the narrow streets of Tbilisi”.

The concert will be held on December 3 at 19:00 in the Palace of Mukams of the State Cultural Centre.
