Thai airline Bangkok Airways begins weighing passengers before flights

From September 15, Bangkok Airways passengers must be weighed along with their hand luggage before boarding the plane, reports news.ru. The airline explained that this is necessary to collect information on the average weight of passengers and ensure flight safety.

Passenger weight information will be used to update standard passenger and baggage weight information. The airline assured that the data will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed.

The airline will weigh passengers until October 31.
