The 2026 motto “Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan  Homeland of Purposeful Heavenly Horses” presented in Vienna

On March 30, 2026 the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Austria, in cooperation with the “Diplomatic Society Magazine”, organized a solemn event dedicated to the spring holidays and the year 2026, held under the motto “Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan Homeland of Purposeful Heavenly Horses”.

About this reports MFA of Turkmenistan.The event was attended by about 300 guests, including heads and representatives of the diplomatic corps, international organizations, as well as business and public circles of Austria.

During the presentation, special attention was paid to the profound meaning of the year’s motto.It was noted that the image of the “heavenly horse” personifies the continuity of traditions, the creative energy of the Turkmen people, and the country’s commitment to the principles of peace and broad international cooperation.

Participants viewed a comprehensive exhibition showcasing the rich culture of Turkmenistan, including books on Ahal-Teke horses and Turkmen Alabays, samples of carpet art, and national costumes.Guests were served dishes of Turkmen cuisine, while the festive atmosphere was enhanced by the performance of folk melodies on the dutar.
