The 2034 World Cup in Saudi Arabia could be held in January given extreme heat and the onset of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, The Times reports.
Earlier, the media reported that the International Football Federation (FIFA) may postpone the tournament to winter due to the intense summer heat in the region. The first winter World Cup was held in November - December 2022 in Qatar.
