The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Uzbekistan Shadurdy Meredov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the republic Bakhtiyor Saidov, reports the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
The parties held detailed negotiations on the entire range of bilateral relations in politics, economics, transport, culture and other areas. They also exchanged views on current international and regional issues of mutual interest.
Diplomats especially noted the successful development of interstate cooperation in recent years thanks to the fraternal relations between the leaders of the two countries.
Following the meeting, the interlocutors expressed confidence that bilateral relations, based on strong ties of friendship and good neighborliness, will continue to successfully develop on a mutually beneficial basis.
