The Ambassador of Turkmenistan met with the Minister in charge for growth strategy and social security reforms of Japan

On April 23, 2026, in Tokyo the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan A.Bayramov met with the member of the Japan-Turkmenistan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, the Minister in charge for Growth Strategy and Social Security Reforms of Japan Minori Kiuchi.

In turn, the Minister highly praised the country's policy pursued by the President of Turkmenistan and Hero Arkadag, aimed at further strengthening bilateral relations.It was emphasized that the Japanese government places particular emphasis on increasing the number of Turkmen youth studying Japanese, as well as implementing joint economic projects in Turkmenistan with the participation of Japanese companies.

At the meeting, the sides also discussed the development of relations between the two countries, specifically cooperation in various areas, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation, scientific and innovative collaboration, green technologies, education and the identification of talented youth, as well as ensuring economic security and cybersecurity.
