In Tashkent, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan Shadurdy Meredov met with the rector of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek Inom Majidov, reports the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation in the field of education and scientific research, as well as strengthening partnerships between higher educational institutions of the two countries.
Particular attention was paid to the upcoming presentation of the book of the President of Turkmenistan “Youth is the support of the Motherland” and a number of events that will be held as part of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great poet and thinker of the East Magtymguly Fragi with the participation of Turkmen students of the National University of Uzbekistan.
At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Uzbekistan presented the book of the President of Turkmenistan “Youth - the support of the Motherland” to the rector of the university.
