The Ashgabat-Turkmenbashi bus route will resume

Intercity bus service will be partially resumed in Turkmenistan starting from May 20.

Regular trips from Ashgabat to Turkmenbashi and backward will be launched. Buses will depart from the capital to Turkmenbashi on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, in the opposite direction on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

To purchase a ticket, passengers will need to have a negative COVID-19 test certificate, received no later than 72 hours before departure, a certificate of receipt of three doses of a coronavirus vaccine, and a travel permit from the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan.
