The Berlin Museum of Natural History will conduct research in the field of biology in Turkmenistan

The Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan and the Museum of Natural History of the Leibniz Institute for Evolution and Biodiversity Science on Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

Within the framework of the signed document, cooperation will be carried out in the development of joint research projects, especially in the field of biology and earth sciences, including the planning and implementation of joint field work, research and expeditions in Turkmenistan. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The Natural History Museum in Berlin was founded in 1810. More than 30 million zoological, paleontological and mineralogical samples are stored here. All permanent and temporary museum exhibitions are directly related to scientific work in the field of biology, paleontology, geology, mineralogy and astronomy.
