1.Preparations for the New Year holidays, ensuring an abundance of products in markets and stores, as well as issues of development of the agro-industrial complex were discussed at a working meeting held through the digital system by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
After listening to the reports, the head of state emphasized the importance of high-quality seasonal agricultural work to obtain rich harvests.The President also instructed the velayat hyakims to hold New Year’s celebrations at a high level and ensure an abundance of products in the country’s retail outlets at affordable prices.
2.The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent a New Year’s message to the people of Turkmenistan, in which he wished his compatriots good health, prosperity and happiness in the New Year 2024.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people called the grand opening of the city of Arkadag in the foothills of Kopetdag one of the outstanding events of 2023.
3.The book of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov “Youth is the support of the Motherland” has been published.As the head of state noted, it highlights the achievements and successes of young people.
The publication of this publication is timed to coincide with the International Scientific and Practical Conference and Exhibition dedicated to the results of the year on December 27.
4.Turkish stars Burak Bulut and Kurtuluş Kuş gathered a full house at the New Year's concert at the Winter Sports Complex in Ashgabat.The singers delighted the audience with both their favorite hits and the premieres of new songs.
The audience enthusiastically greeted the artists' performances, sang along with famous compositions and applauded after each performance.For Burak Bulut and Kurtulus Kush, this was the first concert in the capital of Turkmenistan.

5.At a meeting of the board of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, a decision was made to allocate 200 thousand USD for the purchase of consumables for the treatment of children in need of care.
National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov approved the corresponding proposal and signed a document granting authority to the Charitable Foundation to pay these expenses.
6. Today, the President of Turkmenistan arrived on a working visit to St. Petersburg to take part in the informal Summit of the Heads of the CIS countries. The airliner of the head of the Turkmen state landed at “Pulkovo” International Airport in St. Petersburg, where he was met by officials.

7.American actor and environmentalist Leonardo DiCaprio noted the success of the Kazakh government in restoring the saiga population.According to him, in 2005 there were only 48 thousand saigas in Kazakhstan, but by now their number has increased to almost 2 million individuals in the wild.
DiCaprio noted that the government of Kazakhstan has invested heavily in combating poaching, ensuring law and order and creating new protected areas.
8. The world's first restaurant will soon open in the Californian city of Pasadena, which will not have a single employee. All processes, from ordering to preparation, will be automated. The establishment will operate on the basis of Flippy robotic manipulators developed by Miso Robotics. Robots will take orders, prepare food and even serve it to visitors.

9.President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the “Arkadag” football club on its victory in the Major League and the Turkmenistan Football Cup.The good news to the head of state about the successes of the team from the city of national importance of the same name was conveyed by the chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag, Deryageldy Orazov.
During a working meeting on the digital system, the President of Turkmenistan wished the football club further victories and signed the team’s ball.
10.The Turkmenistan Basketball Cup ended in Ashgabat.The competition brought together 6 men's and 6 women's teams from all over the country.The games were held at the sports complex of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports.
Following the results of five days of competition, the basketball players of the “Ashgabat 1” team won the women’s tournament.Among men, the MGSC team won first place and the title of Cup winner.
