The branch of the first Kazakh university in Russia will begin accepting applicants from September 2025

Within the framework of strengthening bilateral relations, Russia and Kazakhstan have opened a new stage in educational cooperation. Via video link, Vladimir Putin and Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev took part in the opening ceremony of the branch of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Omsk, "MIR 24" reports.

The start of admission of applicants is scheduled for September 2025. The governments of Russia and Kazakhstan have already prepared a joint educational program, within the framework of which 200 grants will be allocated for students.
