21-year-old Mateus Fasiu from Brazil miraculously survived after walking with a bullet in his head for four days without knowing it, reports daily.afisha.ru with reference to Oddity Central.
On December 31, Mateusz was at a New Year's party when he heard a loud noise in his head. He felt a sharp pain and blood on the top of his head. A doctor present at the event helped stop the bleeding.
Fazio thought that someone had thrown a stone at him and continued to go about his business. He applied ice to the wound, celebrated the New Year, and then went home to his hometown, 300 kilometers away.
In the following days, Mateus felt well. He worked, met with friends and even traveled to Rio de Janeiro.
However, on January 4, Mateus woke up feeling weak in his left arm. He became concerned and went to the hospital.
A CT scan showed that Mateus had a bullet lodged in his head. Doctors explained that the bullet hit a less critical part of the brain, but could cause serious problems in the future. Therefore it must be removed.
The operation was successful and Mateus is on the road to a full recovery.
