The building of the former Turkmen-Turkish University being demolished in Ashgabat

Correspondents of “Chronicles of Turkmenistan” report that the building of the former International Turkmen-Turkish University on Gerogly street in the district of Keshi is being demolished in Ashgabat.

In February 2022 owners of private residential buildings located in the district, not far from the monument to Alabai dog, were notified that their houses were subject to demolition.

Those who have residence registration and official documents for their property have been promised to be provided with alternative accommodation in apartment blocks, which are currently being built in the Abadan etrap (formerly, Bezmein) a year and a half or two years from now.
