The Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan invited Romanian parliamentarians to visit Ashgabat

Chairman of the Mejlis Dunyagozel Gulmanova invited the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Turkmenistan of the Romanian Parliament to visit the Turkmen capital during a meeting with the Romanian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ion Naval, according to a press release from the Romanian Embassy in Ashgabat.

The Ambassador of Romania thanked the head of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan for the invitation and assured that the Romanian parliamentarians would receive him with honor.

During the conversation, the parties reviewed the priorities of cooperation in order to intensify inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries. The desire of both states to strengthen and expand bilateral cooperation at all levels was emphasized.

The high level of Turkmen-Romanian inter-parliamentary cooperation within the framework of international organizations was also noted and the desire to continue this interaction in the future was expressed.
