The composition of the junior boxing team of Turkmenistan for the World Championships in Armenia has been announced

The Boxing Federation of Turkmenistan announced the composition of the national team (U-16) for the Junior World Boxing Championship in Armenia. The tournament will take place from November 24 to December 5 in Yerevan.

The national team of Turkmenistan (U-16) under the leadership of Maksut Sheripov and Sapardurdy Bagiyev will be represented by six athletes: Sanjar Hamraev (48 kg), Abdulla Hojaev (50 kg), Mekan Sabirov (52 kg), Seitjan Babajanov (54 kg), Mergen Hojamammedov (60 kg), Dayanch Durdynepesov (63 kg).

574 boxers from 57 countries applied to participate in the tournament in Yerevan. They will compete for medals in 13 youth and 13 women's weight categories. The last world junior competitions were held in 2015.
