The compositions of three Turkmen schoolgirls were awarded the prize of the competition "TURKSOY - the golden bridge of the Turkic world", which was held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the International Organization of Turkic Culture.

The winners were: Akpamyk Maksadova, Ayzada Gurbanmuradova, Gulnur Annamuradova, reports the publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The competition was held among students of secondary educational schools in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan in order to preserve and further develop the community of culture, traditions and customs of the Turkic peoples in the modern world.

The essays of students aged 13 to 15 studying in public general education schools were offered for consideration. In written works, the contestants expressed their thoughts about the cultural heritage of their ancestors.

As a result of the competition, three representatives from each country were awarded prizes.

It is expected that the best essays on a given topic will be published as a collection.
