1.President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, during a working trip to the Balkan velayat, blessed the start of construction of a new combined cycle power plant with a capacity of 1574 megawatts.
The new power plant will be built in the Turkmenbashy etrap and will become one of the largest energy facilities in the country.It will be equipped with four gas turbines and two steam turbines manufactured by General Electric.

The meeting participants assessed the current state of scientific, technical and innovative activities of Turkmenistan and China, and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation were considered.
