Representatives of the Yagshygeldy Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas as part of the Turkmen delegation, took part in the international conference “Towards carbon neutrality: Education, technology, talents”.
The forum was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the China Petroleum University and was held in Beijing from October 1 to 2, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
Representatives of national and international energy universities and research institutes gathered at the forum.
The conference included thematic sessions on carbon-neutral education systems, carbon-neutral prospects for science and technology, as well as a young talent forum with the participation of emerging professionals in the field of developing carbon-neutral systems.
During the meetings, issues on the prospects for the transition to “green energy” were widely discussed.
Rector of MUNiG Bayrammyrat Atamanov spoke at the session “The Future of Science and Technology in the Context of Carbon Neutrality” on the topic “Science, education and innovative technologies in the oil and gas sector of Turkmenistan,” the source notes.
