The governmental delegation of Turkmenistan headed by Vice-Premier Serdar Berdimuhamedov takes part in actions of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and holds talks with officials of the Republic of Tatarstan in Kazan.
The Turkmen delegation has also included Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Dovran Khudayberdiev, Minister of trade and Foreign Economic Relations Orazmyrat Gurbannazarov, and also representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment Protection of Turkmenistan.
On April 29-30 Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in the narrow and expanded formats as an invited guest. At the meeting there were prime ministers of Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and also acting head of the government of Armenia.
Turkmenistan shares points of contact with the Eurasian Economic Union, said the head of the Turkmen governmental delegation at the session of the Council. First of all, there are possibilities for interaction growth at the transport-communication sphere, the vice-premier underlined.
On April 30 the meeting of the Turkmen delegation with the deputy prime minister of the republic of Tatarstan the Minister of Agriculture and Foodstuffs Marat Zyabbarov was held. Issues of increase in goods turnover between Turkmenistan and Tatarstan, and also perspective areas of bilateral cooperation in the agro-industrial complex were discussed.
