The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Germany took part in a large-scale event in Berlin dedicated to the National Spring Holiday - International Nowruz Day, according to a press release from the Turkmen diplomatic mission.
The event at the Berlin Museum of Ethnology was organized by the Federal Foreign Office and the Institute for External Cultural Relations of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The event was attended by leaders and representatives of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, other government departments, as well as ambassadors and diplomats of the embassies of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Türkiye, Uzbekistan in Berlin and city residents.
At the festival, speakers highlighted the significance of International Nowruz Day, its role in the culture and history of peoples. Organized exhibitions and concerts aroused great interest among guests.
The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Berlin showed video materials about the celebration of International Nowruz Day in the country and organized readings of excerpts from the works of Magtymguly Fragi in connection with the celebration of his 300th anniversary. Participants also had the opportunity to taste national Turkmen dishes.
