The exhibition at the museum of Fine Arts devoted to the Independence Day of Turkmenistan

The exhibition of works of Turkmen artists devoted to the 27th anniversary of Independence is launched at the museum of fine arts. The introduction with the exposition I start with the work of Lachin Bayliyeva “Riders” created in 2017.

The artist depicted the group of bicycle riders racing at a high speed along the capital objects of Olympian city. The applause and cheers support the athletes. The dynamics of the race and striving for victory, modern architecture combined with the poetics of the amethyst slopes of the Kopetdag and harmonious highlights on the smooth canvas of the road are perceived symbolically as a metaphor for the progress of the country and its identity.

Turkmen artists often turn to the foothills of the Kopetdag Mountains glorifying the beauty of the native land.No one has such mountain landscapes like Valentin Kudryashov. The painter brings to the natural landscape a bright palette of the author's vision and turns the mountains into emerald green, then orange, changing at his discretion not only the color, but also the shape of the ridges, and immerses the viewer into the aesthetics of fantasy.

The paintings of Valentin Kudryashov are so bright that they dominate over the other works exhibited in the exhibition. Visitors are drawn to them, examining the details for a long time, trying to unravel the artist's intention.

The picture of Stanislav Babikov "Collection of apricots" tells on the generosity of the Turkmen land. The follows tear ripe fruit located on the spreading branches of trees, dropping them on a blanket that the girls have unfolded at the bottom. The painting is replete with colors that are recognizable by art lovers, like the palette of Babikov Jr.

“For a holiday!” named the painting by the national artist of Turkmenistan, Evgenia Adamova, which depicts a group of women in bright national dresses. The image of a Turkmen woman is especially warmly praised in the work of Yevgenia Adamova.

Her heroines defend their right to education - “But I’ll study!”, escort children to the first class - “First September”, start early working hours in the barn - “Milkmaids”.The correct features of the face, natural dignity, a beautifully fitting national dress - these are women who are in a hurry to take part in the festivities with generous food.
