The exhibition “Turkmen horse - the standard of beauty” opened at the Ashgabat Museum

An exhibition entitled “Turkmen horse - the standard of beauty” opened at the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan.

The exhibition is dedicated to the national holiday of the Turkmen horse.

As the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age” reports, among the exhibits of the exhibition, a sculpture of a graceful horse, decorated with horse accessories and jewelry, stands out. The display cases display a saddle, stirrups, whips, a bridle, a case for storing a bowl (serkech) and horseshoes.

Jewelry includes chest, forehead and neck decorations, blinders and amulets.

Also at the exhibition are modern horse accessories combined with ancient jewelry and items widely used in horse breeding: carpet blankets, seat covers, saddle cloths, bags, saddle bags, felt sweatshirts and other products.

One of the sections of the exhibition presents modern jewelry compositions.

The exhibition is decorated with paintings by the People's Artist of Turkmenistan I. Ishankuliev “Toychi”, “Kovumdash”, P. Gapanchaev “Friendship of Turan and Vepaly”, “Toily”, Y. Kolobaev “Skakun” and others.

At the opening there were many horse breeders who looked at the exhibits with great interest.
