The first Turkmen restaurant opened in Expo City Dubai

The first Turkmen restaurant “Talhan” opened in Expo City Dubai. The restaurant is located in the unique building of the Turkmenistan pavilion, opened in Dubai for participation in “EXPO 2020”. The pavilion is decorated in the style of the Karakum dunes, in front of it is a sculptural composition with Ahal-Teke horses.

“Talhan” offers guests of Expo City Dubai dishes of Turkmen national cuisine, as well as “a combination of international dishes that takes guests on an exciting journey through the diverse tastes of the world”.

The restaurant's menu includes pilaf, govurdak, unash, dograma, manti, gutabs, fitchi and many more wonderful dishes of national Turkmen cuisine. The restaurant also offers Turkmen teas made from mountain herbs and camel thorn, which are good for health.

Considering that Expo City Dubai is visited by many tourists from all over the world, the “Talhan” restaurant will contribute to the widespread popularization of authentic Turkmen cuisine.
