Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Park Jin laid flowers at the Independence Monument of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat as a sign of respect for the sovereignty of the state, reports the IIC.
The head of the Korean Foreign Ministry arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the 16th meeting of the cooperation forum “Republic of Korea - Central Asia”, which will be held in Ashgabat on November 1.
During the visit, it is expected that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea will also meet with the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and will also hold negotiations with the heads of the Foreign Ministries of Central Asian countries.
