A working meeting of the General Consul of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation Guych Garayev with the rector of the Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University Alfinur Galiakberova took place in Kazan, the Chelninskiye Izvestiya newspaper reports.
The parties discussed further steps for interaction and new promising areas of cooperation.
Since 2009, close cooperation has been established between NSPU and Turkmenistan. To date, 350 Turkmen students study at the university. Students often choose the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports, the Faculty of Philology.
The university has graduated more than a thousand specialists who are now successfully working in Turkmenistan. There are those who remain on the master's program in the direction of "Russian Language and Literature".
Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University is a higher educational institution in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny of the Republic of Tatarstan (RF), which trains teachers for educational institutions of the Volga-Kama region. The Pedagogical University in Naberezhnye Chelny was established on September 1, 1990. 6 faculties and 13 departments take part in the educational process of NSPU.
