The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan met with the President of Turkey

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, who is on a visit to Ankara, held a meeting with President of Turkey Recep Erdogan, the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan conveyed greetings and best wishes to the President of Turkey from the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

During the meeting, a wide range of issues related to interaction in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres were discussed.The parties expressed deep satisfaction with the pace of development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Turkey, emphasizing the mutual desire to further strengthen the partnership in bilateral and multilateral formats.

There was also an exchange of views on current issues of the regional and international agenda of mutual interest.
