The chairman of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan, Charymyrat Yazmyradov, following the results of the exhibition "Meeting of Artists of the Turkic World", held on April 19-21 in Tashkent, was awarded the gold medal of the Art Academy of Uzbekistan.
It was emphasized that this award was given to the artist for his successful work in the visual arts for many years and his contribution to the development of international cooperation.
According to turkmenistaninfo.gov.tm, at this meeting dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the International Organization of Turkic Culture, Turkmenistan was also represented by the teacher of the State Academy of Arts G. Gochmyradov and the teacher of the Turkmen State Special Art School T. Chopanov.
The exhibition "Meeting of Artists of the Turkic World" was organized for the first time on the initiative of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan. A total of 35 artists from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan took part in this exhibition.
