The XXVIII International Conference “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan - 2023” (OGT-2023) opened at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, reports a Turkmenportal correspondent.
The plenary session of the forum is dedicated to the future of global energy. The first report at the event was made by the Deputy Chairman of the State Concern “Turkmengas” Myrat Archayev, who spoke about the achievements of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan.
During the main meeting of OGT-2023, leaders and representatives of international organizations, large national and international oil and gas companies will also speak.
The moderator of the plenary session is the head of the OSCE Center in Ashgabat, John McGregor.
The next sessions of the oil and gas forum in Ashgabat will be devoted to current energy needs and investments in future energy systems, environmental aspects of hydrocarbon production, monetization and diversification of new energy resources, technological innovation, etc.
