The issues of introducing digital technologies into the system of customs procedures in the seaport "Turkmenbashi" were discussed

On April 11, 2022, an interdepartmental working meeting on the simplification of customs procedures in the international seaport "Turkmenbashi" was held in the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan.The meeting was attended by representatives of the State Customs Service, Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, customs brokers carrying out customs operations in the international seaport "Turkmenbashi", as well as specialists from the Business entities "Sanly Çözgüt IT meýdança" and "Asman oky", participating in the field of digitalization of customs procedures.

During the meeting, the specialists of the Business entity "Sanly Çözgüt IT meýdança" presented a new software that allows users of the services of the Turkmenbashi International Sea Port to apply in real time.

In this connection, the issue of integrating this software and digital technologies introduced into the customs authorities was discussed.Also, various ways of using the potential of the International Sea Port "Turkmenbashi", as an important logistics complex, were considered to increase the country's competitiveness in the system of international maritime transport and its participation in the provision of transit corridors.
