An official visit of the Türkmen leader to the Kingdom of Bahrain and a state visit of the King of Bahrain to Turkmenistan, which relatively took place in 2011 and 2019, became landmark events in the history of bilateral relations.
By the outcome of the high-level talks, important agreements were reached and a pack of documents, which laid a reliable foundation for further fruitful cooperation, was signed.In the course of conversation incumbent President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov touched on the topic of the Presidential elections, which were held in our country on March 12, and by its results, Serdar Berdimuhamedov was elected new head of the Turkmen state.
As the leader of the nation informed, from this moment, he intends to continue his active work as Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan.
