The Marine Merchant Fleet of Turkmenistan has significantly increased the transportation of goods and passengers

During January-October 2023, “Marine Merchant Fleet” CJSC increased the total volume of cargo transportation by 23,8% compared to the same period in 2022, according to the official website of the joint-stock company.

In total, 1,884 million tons of cargo were transported during the indicated period, and the cargo transportation plan was fulfilled by 129,9%.

Cargo turnover for 10 months reached 789,134 million ton-kilometers, which is 20,1% more than in January-October 2022. The planned cargo turnover target was exceeded by 229,2%.

Passenger turnover increased by 58,7% and amounted to 7,912 million passenger-kilometers. The plan was exceeded by 240,9%.

The number of containers transported in TEU increased by 265,9% compared to last year and reached 3271 units.

Thus, the Marine Merchant Fleet of Turkmenistan demonstrates a significant increase in key production indicators, which indicates the efficient operation of the industry.
