The issue of honouring citizens who have made significant contributions to the development of the state was discussed at a meeting of the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, spoke on this topic.In accordance with the instructions of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty emphasised the need for organized and coordinated work on awarding state awards and conferring honorary titles to compatriots.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasised that high distinctions should be awarded to citizens who have achieved outstanding labour successes during the years of independence and who enjoy sincere honour and respect in society.
The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan instructed the heads of relevant structures to ensure complete transparency and objectivity in the nomination of candidates, as well as to properly formalise this work.
