The national recreational zone “Avaza” to be transferred under the supervision of Turkmenistan’s Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs

At the government session held on 5 July President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov reported that “a decision was made to transfer the complex of the national recreational zone “Avaza” under the supervision of entrepreneurs.

Aleksandr Dadayev, Chairperson of Turkmenistan’s Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, was charged with the task of establishing a council designed to manage the recreational and entertainment complex in “Avaza”, and to address the issue of transferring each hotel or facility to the supervision of one or a few entrepreneurs.

Hotels and other facilities in “Avaza” were owned by and subordinate to government agencies.
