The new international airport in Jebel is an important transport hub of Turkmenistan

This year, in the city of Jebel in the Balkan velayat of Turkmenistan, it is planned to complete the construction of a new modern international airport capable of serving up to 100 passengers per hour.

Currently, more than 600 specialists of various professions are working on the construction of the facility using advanced technologies, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.

The construction of a transformer substation, a special reservoir and premises for firefighting services is nearing completion. A 35-meter tower for dispatchers is being built, as well as other facilities for technical departments.

It is planned that the airport will accept almost all types of aircraft. The new transport and logistics center in Jebel in the future will have a significant impact on the development of not only the Balkan velayat, but also the whole of Turkmenistan.
