The oil processing complex in Turkmenistan exported 1.3 million tons of petroleum products in 2023

In 2023, the export of finished petroleum products from the Turkmenbashy oil processing complex (TOPC) amounted to 1.3 million tons. The products were supplied by sea and rail to Georgia, Malta, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper writes.

The growth in exports became possible thanks to the large-scale modernization of the complex as part of the state program for the development of the oil and gas industry.

In particular, the production of high-quality varieties of diesel fuel and motor oils was established.In addition, foreign investment has been attracted to expand oil refining and finished product storage capacities.

Further increase in the production of competitive petroleum products is the strategic goal of the enterprise. This will increase exports and satisfy demand in both domestic and foreign markets.
